Plaka is a beautiful small harbour in the Argolic Gulf. It is a very peaceful spot, with a long pebble beach and a harbour with crystal clear waters. The area is also famous for the Aubergine! It is a stop hard not to love.
Lovely Plaka is very small with only one mini market where you can grab some food to see you through the next day or two, or may so you can enjoy a dinner under the stars on board your yacht.
If you would rather not cook (we don't blame you) there are several tavernas that line the quay where you can devour catch of the day or some local Greek food. There are also a couple of beach bars where you can while away an evening; something that can't be beaten.
Leonidhion is a town nestled in the mountains which is well worth a visit! Enjoy wine on the rooftop of a small boutique hotel before getting back to Mediterranean basics in the town's local pizzeria - one of the best pizzas we have ever tasted. It is also possible to visit the beautiful Elona Monastry set high up in the cliff side, a 30 minute drive away.
