Agios Stephanos is a small resort and one of the first fishing villages on Corfu Island. The beach resort is a stunning picturesque place with sloping hills and olive groves, the beach itself runs for over a mile long and offer shallow clear blue water that is safe for children.
The town has lots of restaurants and tavernas which stay open until the last customer has decided to head home. You will also find a variety of supermarkets, gift shops and bakeries where you can pick up your provisions for the rest of your trip.
If you are an early bird then don’t miss out on buying fresh fish first thing in the morning. You can buy the fish straight off the fishing boats as they return in the early morning, which could be a lovely treat for lunch.
