• Uble

Uble or Ubli as it is sometimes called is a small coastal village on the island of Lastovo.

It’s most famous for the single nave Christian basilica that was built here between the 5th-6th centuries and dedicated to St. Peter. Uble represented the urban capital of this prospering ancient settlement which was continuously growing near the port of Uble. After extensive archaeological research the basilica was conserved and classified as a monument of the highest category, one historic site not to be missed.
