Maslinica is a small and pretty port village on the island of Solta in the Dalmatian Islands. The town itself is well-protected in the Sesula bay and has around 208 inhabitants and is the westernmost town on the island.
The old castle ‘Martinis Marchi’ can be found here for those wanting to explore some of the town’s history and a new marina was built in 2012 which can hold up to 60 boats. Maslinica is a very small and quiet stop with no modern beaches however the beauty of Maslinica is that in every little bay that you find you will be the only boat there.
You will also be also to go diving in the crystal clear waters here, and once you’ve explored the sea then you can try out what Solta is famous for, wine, honey and schnapps.
