Bol is one of the Dalmatian Islands most popular spots. With its small stone houses and winding streets dotted with pink and purple geraniums it’s a very attractive place to visit.
The real draw to Bol is ‘Zlatni Rat[‘ the pebble beach that attracts crowds of swimmers and windsurfers in peak season. This beach is 2km west of the town and lies in between Borak and Potocine beaches.
With a lovely long coastal promenade which is lined with trees that connects the beach to the old town you’re never far from some stunning scenery here. Once in the town centre you can explore until your hearts content with all the best sights being marked with interpretative panels which explain the cultural and historical heritage.
